Business Developer in Disability Services

Stenungsund Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 27,800 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential areas close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. The municipality's vision is to reach 35,000 inhabitants by 2035. Stenungsund Municipality is part of the Gothenburg Region's municipal association, which is a forum for cooperation and exchange of experiences, as well as several other inter-municipal collaborations.

The administration of Stenungsund Municipality is organized into four sectors. Within the social services sector, care and support, individual and family care, and disability services are organized.

In the area of disability services, interventions are implemented according to LSS and SoL aimed at people with various disabilities. This means that within the operational area, there are units responsible for different housing forms, housing support, daily activities/employment, respite care, etc.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged business developer in the area of disability services. The business developer serves as a qualified support to the area and the management team. The focus will be on identifying improvements in the processes, routines, and working methods related to the area. Identifying processes and working methods that need to be phased out is also part of the assignment. The role of the business developer requires flexibility and the ability to switch focus and thrive with multiple processes ongoing. As a business developer, you have the ability to understand how the organization functions and develops, for example, how visions, goals, values, strategies, rules, and cultures affect and influence the implementation of the assignment. You enjoy presenting results both verbally and in writing. Comfortable leading both processes and groups. You have a consultative and situationally adapted working method. In your assignment, you monitor and analyze the external environment to then translate this into strategies. You should influence and support the application of these strategies within the sector that lead to business development. Furthermore, we want you to develop, apply, and teach methods and tools in improvement work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree that includes at least three years of study. You should have education focused on care and support, public administration, economics, or another education that the employer deems equivalent.

You have practical experience in quality and development work, and you should have experience working with investigations, development, change work, and follow-up. A strong focus on personal suitability is essential.

Experience is required.

Meriting project management responsibility and leadership responsibility. Experience in reworking or developing working methods/processes using technology. Being able to present and phase out is an important part of our continuous development.
