Assistive Technology Technician and Rehabilitation Assistant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Assistive Technology Technician and Rehabilitation Assistant in the Rehabilitation Unit, you are part of the municipal primary care together with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants.

You are part of a team responsible for basic equipment and medical technical products. This may involve ordering assistive devices, servicing, or spare parts. You act as support for assistive device representatives in the operations. You are responsible, together with the unit manager, for forecasting, purchasing, and outcomes for the investment budget regarding assistive devices.

You actively participate in the systematic improvement work within the unit.

On behalf of the responsible occupational therapist or physiotherapist, you perform assembly, delivery, and instruct and train the use of assistive devices in ordinary housing. This also includes retrieval, disassembly, and reconditioning of assistive devices as well as writing retrieval orders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certified nursing assistant with experience in assistive devices and rehabilitation. Good collaboration skills, solution-focused, curious, passionate about both patient work and the technical aspect. Detail-oriented and responsible.

Enjoys independent work as well as working in a team. Enjoys varied tasks.

Driver's license required.
