Welcome to develop with us. The contact service has escort, relief, and contact person assignments for children, youth, and adults under LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) and for adults under SoL (the Social Services Act).

Having an escort or relief worker is voluntary and can be offered to both children, youth, and adults. Decisions are made with support from LSS or SoL.

Your mission
As an escort, you help and support a child, youth, or adult with a functional variation to participate in community life outside their own home and facilitate contact with other people. This may involve participating in various leisure activities, meeting friends, going to the movies, practicing public transport, or just taking a walk. The purpose of the intervention is to break the social isolation that can result from having a functional variation.

We are looking for a female escort for a 14-year-old girl in Dalarö. The assignment includes 12 hours per month, preferably one day a week, and is carried out in the evenings and on weekends. It is an advantage if you live in Dalarö and think long-term, as the assignment requires continuity.

No specific education is required, but experience with NPF diagnoses is a plus. A car cannot be used for the assignment, so travel is done by public transport.

The service user has a cat at home, a great interest in cars and motorcycles, enjoys eating sushi, and would like to visit Gröna Lund in the summer.

What we are looking for in you
You do not need any education or specific experience to become an escort, but you should have social competence, be attentive, and have the ability to provide the right support.

As a person, you are empathetic, responsible, and reliable. You find it easy to take your own initiative, can work independently, and have the ability to build good relationships with others. Since you work in close relationships, it is important that you have a long-term perspective for the assignment.

Compensation
The assignment is suitable for you who want to work extra a few hours a week. For your assignment, you will be compensated per hour and for certain expenses related to the assignment, such as reimbursements for snacks or bus tickets.
