About the Unit

The Naval Staff is a naval command located in Muskö, Haninge municipality. The Naval Staff exercises command over the naval units, which includes training, exercises, and operations.

Main Responsibilities

In this role, service is not just a task – it is an inherent part of your personality. You have a professional demeanor and are confident in handling various matters with both sensitivity and efficiency. As a receptionist with us, you will be the face of the Naval Staff! You will enjoy a great variety in your work. Your tasks will include visitor management, answering questions, registering visitors, and providing information and service. You will also provide support in the form of copying, mail handling, ordering and distributing office supplies, and some other administration. You will also assist with training and meetings.

As the Naval Staff is undergoing a transformation process, you will have the opportunity to explore new solutions. It is also important for the position that you can handle periods of varying workload. The Armed Forces is in strong growth, so the tasks may evolve over time.

The reception is located in a mountain where a large part of our operations in Muskö is situated.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• You have very good computer skills
• Knowledge and experience of working with the Office suite
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Good ability to express yourself verbally in English
• Driver's license (B)

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone with a natural sense of service who enjoys delivering results. You are flexible and easily find new solutions. You have good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and work well both in teams and independently. You are structured and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. We also see that you have a strong security mindset.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
Employment rate: Full-time.
Work location: Muskö. The Armed Forces has an established bus connection starting at Vattugatan with stops at Gullmarsplan, Sockenvägen, Västerhaninge station, Ribbyskolan, Ösmo traffic interchange, and Muskö base.
Start date: As soon as possible by agreement.
Travel in the service may occur, primarily within Sweden.
