Järva Support and Treatment is the social services' outpatient care for adults with dependency issues that fall under the outpatient care area.

At Järva Support and Treatment, we work with the treatment of individuals with dependencies to alcohol, drugs, and gambling, as well as a criminal lifestyle. We also provide support for relatives of individuals with dependencies, a criminal lifestyle, and/or those who have had loved ones who have been victims of fatal violence. The unit also conducts housing support interventions in training and trial apartments, personal support for those with their own housing, and work training for our clients. We collaborate with our clients on dependency units and the social intervention group (SIG). Our location is conveniently close to the subway.

Your role

Järva Support and Treatment is divided into two different teams with four different assignments: treatment, support for relatives, work training, and housing support. This position involves working with and designing support for relatives who have a loved one with a criminal lifestyle or who have been victims of fatal violence. You will work independently, but the work will be done in close collaboration with social workers from the social intervention group. The role also includes informing about the support and developing good informational materials.

With us, you need to be able to see the needs of our relatives while also being able to work based on proven experience and knowledge. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to good social work and has a strong interest in developing good support for relatives and our citizens.

Your qualifications and experience

To handle the role of support for relatives, you need to have:

• A degree in social work or another academic education in behavioral sciences that the employer considers equivalent
• Experience in social work

It is advantageous if you have:

• Training in CRAFT, crisis and trauma, MI, or experience in support for relatives.
• Knowledge of community guidance, competence based on cultural contexts in Järva, knowledge of network environments and their impact on relatives, knowledge of interactions with NPF issues.

As a person, you are pedagogical and flexible. You can adapt to different situations and individuals. You are independent in your work and take responsibility. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and cooperating with other professional groups.
