We are looking for a UX/UI Designer for our client

Assignment Description

As a UX designer, you will be involved in developing a central part of the new traffic management capability; an ordering and contract web portal. This portal is crucial for managing travel orders, travel monitoring, traffic capacity, and travel guarantee measures. As a UX designer, you will be responsible for the user experience in the ordering and contract web portal.

Your work will have a direct impact on three primary target groups:

• The Order Center - which receives travel bookings from travelers via phone.
• The Travel Guarantee - which supports travelers in case of travel deviations, e.g., delays.
• Taxi Providers - the taxi companies that have contracts with the Traffic Administration and perform the transports.

You will be a member of the newly established development team consisting of a tech lead, developers (frontend and backend), and testers. You are an important resource in identifying the needs and context of the target groups, and based on this, the team develops an effective and tailored solution.

The assignment involves leading and driving the design process in the development of the ordering and contract web portal, from understanding our users and based on user insights developing concepts, UX flows, and validated designs. Based on the needs of users and the business, you should also be able to prioritize functionality and determine which critical functionality needs to be in place from the start and what can be developed later.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least nine (9) years of full-time work experience in UX/UI design, of which at least seven (7) years must be in UX design.
• Documented experience of working methodically within design and customer-centered approaches throughout the design process, supported by at least two (2) assignments, with a duration of at least one (1) year, from the last five (5) years, where such methods have been successfully applied.
• Documented experience of independently leading and executing a complete design process, including identifying necessary activities, adapting it to conditions, selecting relevant methods, and involving relevant partners at the right times. This must be supported by at least two (2) assignments from the last five (5) years, where the entire design process has been carried out within the framework of the same assignment.
• Documented experience in developing, visualizing, and communicating customer insights from at least three (3) assignments.
• Documented experience in prioritizing functionality in a solution, using design methodology and customer-centered approaches, from at least three (3) assignments.
• Documented experience in visualizing multiple different solutions in parallel at a conceptual level based on customer insights, and evaluating these from a business and user perspective, from at least three (3) assignments.
• Documented experience of design work in an agile development team, with at least one (1) year of duration, from at least two (2) previous assignments/projects.
• Documented experience in creating sketches and interactive prototypes that have been evaluated with end-users, from at least three (3) projects in the last five (5) years.
• Documented experience of having been responsible for and performed design work for work tools. This must be supported by a description of at least one (1) assignment with a duration of at least one (1) year within the last eight (8) years.

Desirable

• Documented experience of carrying out assignments for the public sector in at least one (1) project/assignment with a duration of at least one (1) year.
• Documented experience in transforming user needs into structured functional and non-functional requirements in at least one (1) project.
