Staff Assistant to the Naval Staff at Muskö

We are currently looking for a staff assistant to meet the increased demand for our services and to develop our section to face future challenges. The Naval Staff is a maritime command located at Muskö in Haninge municipality. The Naval Staff leads the naval units, which includes training, exercises, and operations.

About the Unit

The department currently consists of about ten people, including a manager. There is a great variety of roles within the department, but service is the common thread. The tasks within the department consist of everything from janitorial work, vehicle management, cleaning, and transportation, as well as various orders and handling of consumables.

Main Responsibilities

As a staff assistant, you will support and provide service to the Naval Staff's operations. There is a great variety of tasks, so no two days are alike. The tasks can range from simpler janitorial duties; handling the Naval Staff's vehicles, transportation, and various administration. The role may change over time as the Naval Staff and the Muskö department grow.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Driving license B
• High school education with passing grades
• Good computer skills
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Good ability to express yourself verbally in English
• Experience in administrative work

DESIRABLE

• Experience in janitorial work or equivalent as assessed by the employer
• Experience in vehicle management

Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
