JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Burgården, we educate for reality, and just like in reality, our school is a bustling world, with many directions, people, and meetings. We offer vocational programs, university preparatory programs, and introductory programs. Here, we train the future's hairdressers, hair and makeup stylists, and fashion designers alongside nursing assistants, preschool teachers, support assistants, and animal caretakers. We also offer the Aesthetic Program, Social Science Program, and Natural Science Program. We are a multicultural school with students from all districts and surrounding municipalities. Depending on subject qualifications in combination with our demand, we are looking for at least two new full-time teachers for the General Introductory Program.

The position involves a varied and stimulating job with students who need you in their schooling. We are looking for teachers who provide our students with the best possible conditions by creating clear structures and providing guidance to help students move forward. In our program, we strive to create an inspiring and inclusive teaching environment where students develop their knowledge and self-confidence. We have a strong commitment to developing a modern operation focused on increasing the quality of teaching to improve student learning and create clearer responsibilities, governance, and leadership to raise students' knowledge results.

Your responsibilities will include planning, implementing, and following up on teaching for students in the introductory program, as well as designing and following up on individual study plans (ISP) for the students throughout the year. You will support students with special needs and adapt teaching to their conditions. The position involves working closely with students, colleagues, and student health to promote students' development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license in primary school subjects such as Swedish, English, Mathematics, Sports, or Home Economics. If you have upper secondary qualifications in subjects, that may be an advantage. Likewise, broad qualifications are advantageous for us.

You need to be good at building relationships and seeing the potential in every student, have experience using digital tools in teaching, and want to use them to improve learning. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
