Resursteam Heder is a mobile team that offers support and counseling to individuals aged 13 and above, who are dealing with honor-related issues. The service also targets professionals by providing consultative support through phone and/or in-person conversations, method support, counseling, risk and safety assessments, as well as lectures and workshops. Resursteam Heder serves those who live, study, or work in Malmö. We are now looking for a colleague for a fixed-term assignment. Welcome to Resursteam Heder!

Job Responsibilities

We at Resursteam Heder are looking for a (fixed-term) employee whose work will be directed towards professionals within the Labor Market and Social Administration, assisting with consultations and support in the investigative work within Child and Family Investigation, Reception BoF, and Youth Investigation. Part of the assignment may also include consultations within the framework of Safe Child, aimed at professionals in preschool and primary school administration.

This assignment is fixed-term from May to December 2025, as Resursteam Heder has received financial resources to strengthen support directed towards the aforementioned. In the core assignment of Resursteam Heder, employees assist professionals with consultations to assess whether there is a risk that the child/youth lives in an honor context/honor violence and thus risks not having their human rights met. Part of this work has been to develop a screening tool and support material to be used in the investigative work within Child and Family Investigation, Reception BoF, and Youth Investigation.

Consultations currently mainly take place via phone. The effect we hope to achieve by being present is that more children/youths who are in an honor-related issue are detected and thus offered interventions that meet their needs for support/protection.

The work will therefore involve being present and providing support in cases as well as in the use of screening tools and support materials. The work will also consist of holding lectures/trainings and workshops on honor-related oppression and violence. To be offered this fixed-term position, one must have very good knowledge of honor-related oppression and violence and significant experience in direct work with individuals in an honor-related issue. Additionally, one should also have extensive experience in conducting training on the subject and be comfortable in the training/lecture role.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and several years of experience working with honor-related oppression and violence.

Additionally, you should have experience in investigative work according to Patriark. It is advantageous if you also have training/knowledge of the assessment tool HEVA.

You should have experience in conducting training/lectures on honor-related oppression and violence.

You should have a good ability to listen and show understanding for professional questions, concerns, and dilemmas. You should have a good demeanor and the ability to quickly build good relationships with others.

To thrive in the role of social worker, it is important that you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks. You have strong motivation, are receptive, and can maintain a positive attitude towards changing circumstances. We place great importance on clear and proactive communication and that you are confident in yourself.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
