The opportunity

HVDC is looking for a HSE Manager to work together with us in an international environment with plenty of opportunities. In this role you will be part of the HSE Governance team that is dedicated to support and drive HSE improvements in a global organization with several office locations, manufacturing facilities, test facilities, and several project and service sites.

As an HSE Manager, your main responsibilities will be to drive the Health, Safety, and Environmental fields. The main focus of the HSE support is towards global Product Management teams, Line functions, and processes within Products and manufacturing.

How you will make an impact

  • Drive and promote a strong HSE culture within management team(s). Support and coach responsible managers and key functions on how to act and what to do
  • Conclude and analyze the HSE stakeholder requirements, incident investigations, and audit results on an overall level to see patterns, root causes, risks, and trends within the organization
  • Deliver value-added findings, opportunities for improvements, and best practices in a constantly changing and growing environment
  • Train, coach, and support the organization in Health, Safety, and Environmental issues
  • Help and support to external and internal audit teams as required. Perform or support internal audits of management systems against the requirements of ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 50001:2018
  • Lead/assist in the performance of special reviews as well as hazards and incident investigations as assigned

Your background

  • Background working with health and safety and/or environmental topics
  • You have a university degree in bachelor or master’s, preferably within health and safety, environment, or related field. We highly value your personality and see that you have a positive, structured, flexible, driven, and pro-active mindset
  • You have solid communication and influencing skills to address and build trust with people on different organizational levels
  • As you will be part of an international environment, English is a must, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 50001:2018, experience from law compliance, Safety by design including environmental requirements, and work with phase-out of chemicals
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
