We currently have four hospital physicists with offices at the radiology department in Falun. Hospital physics is an integrated part of the radiology clinics in the county, which allows for many social contacts. We also have a close collaboration with medical technology. Hospital physics works with radiodiagnostics, dentistry, intervention, nuclear medicine diagnostics and therapy, as well as MRI in the region. Hospital physics also staffs Region Dalarna's radiation protection expert function.

Job Responsibilities

The Department of Imaging and Functional Medicine Dalarna is looking for a full-time hospital physicist assistant for 4 weeks. As a hospital physicist assistant, you will work closely with the clinical operations and support our hospital physicists in their daily work. You will participate in routine tasks such as annual checks, dose measurements, quality work, and your own project.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is pursuing a post-secondary education in physics and engineering. It is an advantage if you are training to become a hospital physicist.
