The Cultural and Community Development Administration consists of activities responsible for the management and maintenance of streets and parks, local traffic regulations, culture and leisure, community planning, project design and exploitation, as well as Environment and Building. Job Responsibilities

With us, your work as an environmental inspector will entail a varied everyday life. The position involves working with supervision and assessment according to the Environmental Code, focusing on individual sewage systems, but also includes other tasks within the unit's area of operations.

You will have daily contact with the public and actors in the construction industry in conversations, during consultations, and on construction sites. You will be working outdoors a lot and thus meet all sorts of people with different levels of knowledge and competence. You are the expert guiding them forward, being accommodating and helpful, while ensuring that everything is done according to current regulations. This is what makes the job so rewarding and fun!

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant education and experience in a suitable field for the assignment, such as environmental science, water technology, or similar.

It is considered an advantage if you have knowledge of or experience with legislation related to the Environmental Code and municipal operations. Experience with digital case management systems is also an asset.

You have a good command of the Swedish language and the ability to express yourself clearly and accessibly in both speech and writing.

Since you will encounter many different kinds of people, you need to have good communication and collaboration skills. In your interactions with people, you maintain a professional demeanor, handling situations calmly. You are unpretentious but have a strong presence. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
