Vision is looking for a Union Developer

Vision is a modern and growing trade union in constant change, and we continue to increase our union strength. Vision's members lead, develop, and administer welfare and work in municipalities, regions, private companies, or the church. Our 218,000 members are spread across the country and within thousands of different professions, forming a valuable network together. We are a feminist organization, politically independent, and part of TCO.

Do you want to help strengthen Vision as a trade union? We are making a significant effort to grow and increase our union strength through more members, elected representatives, and a stronger presence in workplaces. We are now looking for a colleague to join our team of union developers focusing on organizing and recruiting more elected representatives and members.

As a union developer, you will belong to a team of colleagues located in different parts of the country, led by a team leader. The position is based in Gothenburg.

Together with your colleagues, you will analyze the potential for recruitment, set clear goals, and carry out activities to increase the number of members and elected representatives.

Main Responsibilities

• Support in analyzing potential to aid in the recruitment of new elected representatives and members.
• Participate in setting goals to increase the number of elected representatives and members in the departments and their sections.
• Conduct and participate in activities that support recruitment and engagement.
• Participate in the follow-up and evaluation of initiatives.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in development, recruitment, and organizing work.
• Experience in union work, either as an employee or elected representative.
• Good ability to work independently and build long-term relationships.
• Good pedagogical skills and personal maturity.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365.

The position is a fixed-term employment for 12 months, starting on June 2, 2025.

You will be based at our center in Gothenburg, which focuses on a good working environment and flexibility. We also offer the possibility to work remotely to some extent if the business allows it. Travel is required for the position.
