Located in Flemingsberg center with proximity to both buses and commuter trains, about 15 minutes to the central station.

We have a colleague going on parental leave, which is why we are looking for a new team member for our BVC.

We work on behalf of Region Stockholm with the national child health care program. The role of BVC nurse is varied, including vaccinations, developmental assessments, doctor’s appointments, and providing support to parents. For those working at BVC, training is offered to strengthen your competence in child health care.

Job Responsibilities

The role of BVC nurse is varied, including vaccinations, developmental assessments, doctor’s appointments, and providing support to parents. Since 2019, we have been working in the expanded home visit program. We have close cooperation with family centers, maternity clinics, open preschools, etc.

You will have contact with many different families in a multicultural area. This requires you to be flexible, have good communication skills, and be able to collaborate easily.

Employment Type

Parental leave cover for at least 1.5 years with good opportunities for permanent employment.

Qualifications

You should be a nurse with specialist training in child and youth or specialist training as a district nurse.

Personal Qualities

Previous experience from BVC is an advantage, and EPDS training is desired.
