Kommerskollegium is Sweden's authority for foreign trade, trade-related international development cooperation, the EU's internal market, and trade policy, working on issues such as EU free trade agreements, Swedish companies' opportunities to import and export, and poverty alleviation through trade.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a driven IT manager with a solution-focused mindset who wants to work independently in a broad and varied role. Kommerskollegium's operations are evolving with new assignments and conditions, and in this development journey, you will have an important role to fill. You will be involved in issues such as security protection, information security, IT support for our growing aid operations and overseas placements, strengthening the authority's role in total defense, and a possible upcoming assignment as a preparedness authority with sector responsibility. You will also contribute to the authority's physical security, with equipment and functions in a hybrid work environment and other developments in line with the core operations' needs.

Kommerskollegium is a full-service authority for the IT operations of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and you will play a central role as a purchaser regarding planning, budgeting, and follow-up. You will belong to the authority's administrative unit, a smaller unit where we help each other and support one another, which means that other tasks within the unit may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree focused on IT or other education combined with experience that we consider equivalent. You have experience working in a coordinating/purchasing role within IT. You have several years of experience in the development, operation, and management of IT environments. To function well in the role, we also see that you have experience in project management, working with IT security, and IT support in employees' daily work. Our IT platform is Microsoft-based, and it is important for the job that you have knowledge in this area. We consider it an advantage if you have experience from working at or with a government authority and security protection work.

You are attentive, flexible, and communicative towards others and are appreciated for your collaborative approach. Furthermore, you are self-sufficient, enjoy taking responsibility, and drive your processes forward independently and successfully.

The position is classified in a security class and therefore requires Swedish citizenship. A security review with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
