JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now have the opportunity to welcome two dedicated contact nurses to our clinic!

At the surgical outpatient clinic, all steps in the patient process are handled, from referral through investigation to surgical planning and follow-up after surgery and treatment. As a nurse, you play an important role in creating security, participation, and providing support and guidance for the patient and their relatives. We work with several different SVFs (standardized care pathways), My Care Plan in 1177, and are currently developing our contact nurse-led follow-up programs for cancer rehabilitation.

Our clinic is characterized by close collaboration between the different professions and a pleasant work environment. We have an educational environment with good development opportunities, where you can exchange knowledge with your colleagues. We offer rotation services where working hours are primarily during the day at the clinic, Monday to Friday without weekends, but with duty every 6th weekend at the inpatient department associated with your team's specific diagnoses. Other types of rotation opportunities are also available and can be discussed according to your preferences.

We care about you as a new employee and want you to settle into your role in the best possible way. You will be offered an individual introduction tailored to your experiences, competencies, and wishes. We have several clinical studies ongoing in the teams, and we offer internal training every other week. If you are considering further education to become a specialist nurse in surgery or taking the contact nurse training, we view this positively.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are required. We would like you to have a strong interest in surgery and some years of experience in nursing, but we also welcome newly graduated nurses. If you have specialized training in surgery and/or contact nurse training, it is an advantage for the position.

Furthermore, you possess good collaboration skills and a strong interest in meeting patients and relatives in difficult life situations. You easily adapt to new situations and have an independent working style while being part of the team. You are confident in your professional role with great commitment, good service sense, and the ability to take responsibility. If you are driven by new challenges and want to help develop our operations, we believe you will thrive with us. Of course, you work according to Region Skåne's values. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

In this recruitment, we apply ongoing selection.

Warm welcome to submit your application today!
