Your Responsibilities

As a team leader with us at Morakniv, you will be part of a group of 3 team leaders and report to our operational manager. Your responsibilities will include leading and distributing work within your area of responsibility and collaborating to achieve our goals in safety, environment, quality, delivery, and economy.

In your role as Team Leader, the following tasks are also included:

• Personnel responsibility, leading and developing staff in alignment with the company's development
• Work environment responsibility in your area of responsibility
• Ensuring that the department works according to standards and thus delivers according to product and process specifications (quality and delivery capability)
• Responsibility for process flow and driving efficiency and quality development within your area of responsibility
• Initiating and leading improvement projects

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing people and winning teams. You are a driven team leader who wants to move forward and dares to challenge but also has the ability to complete what you have started. You are structured, self-driven, and meticulous. You find it easy to communicate with people at different levels in the company, easily see the big picture, and your work is characterized by high quality.

We are looking for someone with at least a 3-year high school diploma or equivalent experience. You have previous experience leading a production department with good leadership skills, knowledge of applicable legislation regarding work environment and labor law. Extra points if you have practical experience working according to LEAN.
