Villa Brunnby is a premium facility with 39 hotel rooms, and we will soon expand with an additional 16 suites. Located between two of Scandinavia's largest vineyards and with the dramatic and beautiful nature of Kullahalvön right outside our doors. We are proud members of Countryside Hotels and are known for our high guest satisfaction. By midsummer, we will also open our sister hotel, Nackarpsdalen Gästgiveri, at the foot of Söderåsen National Park.

We are now looking for a passionate and dedicated head waiter who wants to be part of our team and help create unforgettable dining and service experiences for our guests.

About the role

As a head waiter at Villa Brunnby, you will play a key role in the restaurant and be responsible for ensuring that guests receive a top-class service experience. You will lead and inspire the serving team, ensure that service runs smoothly, and that our high quality standards are always met. You will work closely with the head chef and restaurant manager to optimize the guest experience.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate service in the restaurant to create a memorable experience for guests
• Coaching and training of serving staff to maintain high service quality
• Be the restaurant's face to the outside and welcome guests with professionalism and warmth
• Be responsible for table placements and handling reservations
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen & reception to ensure smooth communication between departments
• Handle any guest inquiries and ensure that any requests are met

Who are you?

• You have a passion for service and want to give each guest a unique and personal experience
• You have previous experience as a head waiter or in a similar leadership role in the restaurant industry
• You are a natural leader who enjoys working in a team and motivating others
• You have good wine knowledge and an interest in food and drink combinations
• You are flexible and adaptable, and can handle stressful situations with a calm and professional demeanor
