We are currently looking for an engaged and competent teacher in electrical power at the Vocational University in Arboga!

About the position

With us, you will play a key role in the education of future electrical power engineers. You will be responsible for planning and conducting courses within the electrical power engineering program and contributing to the development of the program in collaboration with teachers, consultants, and the management team.

Your role also includes:

• Documentation of teaching and student results.
• Contact with students and supervision during their LIA periods (Learning in Work).
• Collaboration with our established industry partners, including Sweco, Eskilstuna Strängnäs Energi och Miljö AB, Lindeenergi, Linjemontage, Kristinehamns Energi, Hitachi Power Grids, and KTH.

Our education is two years long and comprises 400 YH credits.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of electrical power.
• Experience as an electrical engineer, electrical designer, or equivalent, and who wants to share your knowledge.
• The ability to teach in areas such as; electrical engineering, mathematics, electrical installation technology, regulations and standards, and electrical power.
• Basic IT skills and good Swedish in both spoken and written form.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in teaching within the electrical power industry.
• Education in electrical power with pedagogical experience or are a high school teacher/vocational teacher.

As a person, you are pedagogical, communicative, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating, inspiring, and helping students achieve their goals.

Employment conditions

Full-time, permanent. Start date according to agreement.
