Your responsibilities

You will teach students in the subjects of mathematics and geography, where you will also be responsible for planning and implementing the teaching as well as assessing students' knowledge. An important part of the position is to collaborate with a colleague to be a mentor for a class. You will also work with value-based education according to the curriculum. Working as a teacher is about constantly developing based on the students we meet and capturing their interests to create good and challenging teaching. It is also about documenting students' learning to enable them to reach their goals. In addition to pedagogy, we work with active student health efforts to ensure that our students feel safe and well. Above all, we must never forget to find joy in our work and that we are there for the students.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a certified upper secondary school teacher with the authority to teach mathematics and geography. Authorization in multiple subjects may be an advantage. If you have experience working as a teacher, it is a plus for the position.

You take great responsibility for your work, drive processes forward, and work in an organized manner. At the same time, you are flexible and see opportunities in changes. With your creative and innovative ability, you contribute new ideas and methods that develop teaching. You also have strong collaboration skills and a pedagogical understanding that allows you to adapt your communication to both students and colleagues.

Additional information

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police criminal record.

In connection with the interview, you need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must present a valid work permit or be exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
