Skilled Teachers Wanted for KSU

Are you a skilled teacher with clear leadership and the ability to create a safe learning environment? We are now looking to strengthen our competent team with two teachers, one for Vallbygruppen and one for Malmabergsgruppen for grades 4–6.

Your Responsibilities

Your tasks will include teaching students in KSU in grades 4 – 6. You will work closely with your colleagues in the group, but also collaborate significantly with the students' guardians and various agencies involved with the student. We work with individual goals and planning for each student's unique circumstances, and we often need to think outside the box when it comes to adapting both materials and teaching methods. To see and follow the student's knowledge development, we have a 1–9 perspective in KSU. We work solution-focused and always find solutions together for what needs to be done in our operations.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is driven and motivated by seeing progress, big or small! You need to be confident and experienced in your teaching role as we often need to think quickly. To thrive with us, you should want to engage with a small group of students who all have different strengths and challenges. You are a certified primary school teacher. We prefer that you have knowledge, experience, and a genuine interest in working with children and young people in need of special support, and if you have knowledge about various disabilities, it is a merit. For this position, it is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We Offer

The municipal special education group, KSU, consists of 15 groups. The groups are located in primary schools or in close proximity to a municipal school. Each group works independently and based on their circumstances. The students work according to the national curriculum, and we all start from a common mission. The mission involves teaching in smaller groups where we as teachers focus on individualized instruction. Our goal is to make a difference for children and young people, and with collective effort work towards increased goal fulfillment and a desire to learn. Additional Information

Before you can be employed, you need to present a valid extract from the police criminal record.

During the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
