Make a Difference. Every Day.
Are you interested in working with diabetes, an area that is rapidly evolving? Do you want to challenge yourself and grow together with our team? Then you might be just the colleague we are looking for! We are currently seeking a diabetes nurse who wants to work in one of the most interesting and innovative fields—diabetes!
The Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic at Helsingborg Hospital currently consists of 16 employees divided into four teams: endocrinology/osteoporosis, diabetes, foot, and secretaries/reception. In addition, we have doctors with extensive experience.
With us, you will be part of a cheerful group that enjoys working together and cares about each other's well-being, both at work and outside of it. For us, team spirit is important, and we actively work on it, placing great emphasis on collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
Together, we are moving forward in an exciting process where we are working to create an even better future clinic with the patient at the center. To achieve this, we carry our core values with us in both big and small matters. Through the Green Cross, we systematically follow up on our patient safety work that permeates the entire team's efforts. Our goals are clear and something we work on every day. Equally important is that everyone should have the opportunity to develop and increase their knowledge, perhaps within a special interest that they share with their colleagues, thereby advancing our clinic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for you who are, or soon will be, a qualified diabetes nurse, preferably with experience working with type 1 and/or type 2 diabetes. Regardless, we look forward to welcoming you to the Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic in Helsingborg!
With us, you will have a rewarding and varied job. We tailor the introduction based on your experience and needs, and you will always have an experienced colleague to turn to. Our goal is for you to be able to work independently with your own specialist clinic while collaborating with others in the team.
Our diabetes clinic primarily sees patients with type 1 diabetes or difficult-to-control type 2 diabetes. The work is very varied, and you will meet patients with different needs, some with technical aids such as insulin pumps and CGM. We also run a unique and well-functioning specialist maternity care, where we, as a team together with midwives and doctors, regularly meet our pregnant diabetes patients. We also have a close and good collaboration with our nearby foot clinic.
Your work will also include:
- Telephone advice and consultation services.
- Day care services with newly diagnosed patients.
- Teaching.
- Participation in various diabetes networks.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who apply are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. You also have further education in diabetes care, at least 15 credits.
Diabetes care is constantly evolving, and we have both technical and digital aids at our disposal. Therefore, we see it as an advantage if you have an interest in technology.
We are looking for someone who, together with us, wants to influence and develop both your own working methods and the organization as a whole. Furthermore, you have a genuine interest in outpatient care and diabetes. You enjoy working patient-centered, have an easy time collaborating, are unpretentious, and like to work in a team where everyone is equally important. Other qualities we value are that you are flexible and have the ability to work with varying tasks, as well as being responsible and attentive to patients and colleagues.
In this process, we apply rolling selection. We warmly welcome your application today!
