We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to the best interests of the child and who wants to help shape and develop the eviction prevention work with a clear focus on the child perspective.

Right now, a lot of development work is underway to align with the new legislation coming into effect this summer – do you want to be part of the front line in Hässelby-Vällingby? We want to strengthen the administration's eviction prevention work from a child rights perspective. Your main focus will be to ensure that the child is a central figure in our work. You will support our three current eviction preventers and contribute ideas and suggestions for new methods to strengthen the child rights perspective in our work.

The position is located within the adult reception unit and is a fixed-term employment until 2025-12-31.

Job Responsibilities

  • Explore new methods together with the regular work group that ensures that the child rights perspective permeates our eviction prevention work.
  • Create an internal structure to guide parents to parenting support measures within the preventive unit.
  • Focus on the three perspectives within child rights:
  • Child Rights Perspective: How society's actions and laws can ensure that children's rights are respected and fulfilled.
  • Child Perspective: A perspective where the child's best interests and needs are at the center of decision-making and actions.
  • Child's Perspective: How children themselves experience and understand their situation, their voices and experiences are considered and prioritized in all decisions.

As an eviction preventer, you will be an important piece of the puzzle to ensure that our work makes a difference for the families we meet.

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a degree in social work
  • experience in collaboration

We consider it a merit if you have experience working with child rights issues within social services, as well as a strong desire to develop new methods with a solution-oriented approach. Since the work requires good collaboration skills, we place great importance on personal suitability, especially regarding your ability to work effectively with others.
