This is your mission

As a personnel security officer at the Security Police, you are responsible for handling security assessments and other investigations in the field of personnel security. In your role, you will also conduct security conversations and work to gather, process, analyze, and document information within the personnel security area.

You will be part of a team where we have high trust in each other and share our knowledge. You and your colleagues are also an important part of the operational development related to your mission.

Your placement is at the headquarters in Solna, and the work is performed on-site, which means you do not have the opportunity to work remotely. Travel within Sweden may occur.

The qualifications we are looking for in you

Only those who meet the requirements below can be considered for the position.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic degree, police degree, or other competence deemed equivalent by the Security Police
• At least two years of relevant work experience
• Good IT skills from a user perspective
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

The position requires Swedish citizenship.

You who apply may also have competencies that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute with one or more of the following, it is meritorious:

• Experience working with personnel security or other areas within security protection legislation
• Experience in conducting security assessments
• Experience in security conversations or completed conversation training
• Experience in the operational activities of the Security Police
• Experience in gathering, processing, and assessing intelligence information
• Experience in gathering and analyzing information from social media
• Experience in method and operational development

The Security Police places high demands on security and confidentiality, therefore we expect you to have a high security awareness.

Employment conditions

Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment with the Security Police involves placement in a security class. Employment also requires a satisfactory result in the security assessment with a background check, conducted in accordance with the security protection law.

This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. We apply individual salary setting. Employment also comes with an obligation to be placed in wartime.
