About the Role

The production engineering work involves constantly challenging and improving Scania's production processes to enable sustainable world-class results. Here, the goal is to meet set targets and work towards seamless changes and introductions.

You will work as a Preparation Backoffice Engineer, or as we say, a preparer, and belong to a group consisting of about 15 people with varied roles, backgrounds, and experiences.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a preparer in the back office, you are a crucial piece in enabling successful product introductions in assembly.

You work in a role where a large part of the job involves preparing our production systems so that new products are placed correctly in the system based on the local production process. You are also responsible for global coordination and feedback of deviations and are an important support for other organizations in product-related issues. You play a vital role in ensuring seamless introductions through cross-functional collaboration.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is a university or engineering graduate or has completed Scania's technician training or other post-secondary technical education. Relevant work experience is an advantage. You have a strong drive, a positive attitude, and find it easy to collaborate. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and enjoy challenging work processes. You express yourself very well in both spoken and written Swedish and English, as both languages are required in daily work. You have good computer skills and find it easy to learn new programs.
