E.ON is looking for a Product Manager in Flexibility Solutions
E.ON is an international privately-owned energy company. 70,000 employees in 15 countries work daily towards the development of technical innovations and user-friendly customer solutions for the new energy world. We are the first major energy company to truly focus on future energy solutions through our business areas for smart grids and customer solutions.
About us
You will become part of our Energy Systems department, which is part of the initiative we call PROACTIVE.ON – an initiative to strengthen our organization with a clear responsibility for the entire energy system. With the ongoing energy transition and powerful electrification, as well as due to technological development and digitalization, the need for more solutions arises to meet demand from both a capacity and connection perspective. Here, we at Energy Systems play an important and crucial role!
You will be part of the Flexibility Solutions group, a team of 7 people who have been working since 2022 on the implementation and development of flexibility solutions in the electricity grid. We work together to enable more customers to connect to the electricity grid faster and, in the long run, to a more efficient use of our electricity grid, and we do this with innovation and collaboration in focus.
Your role
As a Product Manager, you are a key player in the energy transition and a valuable enabler for the implementation of flexibility solutions in the electricity grid. In your role, you are responsible for our products under conditional agreements. By ensuring that our solutions meet regulatory requirements and the needs of various groups at E.ON, other grid owners, and flexibility providers, you help build tomorrow's energy system.
In your role, you will:
- Identify and develop new solutions to meet changing customer and market needs.
- Ensure that our products comply with applicable legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
- Build strong collaborations with E.ON's customer organization and other industry players to jointly create progress and long-term solutions.
- Contribute to the requirements specification of our in-house developed platform SWITCH, to optimize functionality, user experience, and business benefits.
By driving the development of conditional agreements, you actively contribute to solving capacity shortages in the electricity grid and enabling a sustainable energy transition. You will be the one who ensures that ideas become reality and that our products not only meet today's needs and regulations but also set the standard for the future.
The role may involve participating in public marketing activities for the products you are responsible for.
The location for the position is Stockholm.
About you
To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you are a trained civil engineer. We also see that you have experience working with flexibility in the energy system and that you have experience in either project management or business development within the industry.
As a person, you are good at driving your work forward while ensuring delivery in what you do. Since both the group and the tasks are still relatively new, you need to be structured and willing to contribute to improving and developing our working methods so that we can together deliver the most sustainable and smart flexibility solutions. We see that you thrive in a changing environment and are comfortable navigating a dynamic everyday life, where new challenges and opportunities are a natural part of the work. You have analytical thinking and the ability to find solutions to complex problems, which is crucial for driving development forward. With your communication skills, you are good at conveying and explaining complex information in a simple way while building trust and creating successful collaborations. We hope you share our view that we become better together and learn by exchanging experiences and ideas with each other!
Warm welcome to apply and join us on the path towards a sustainable society! The application deadline is April 7.
The position is classified for security, which means that a security check will be conducted before employment.
