We are looking for someone to work as a Operations Manager at the Coordination Association Skaraborg, located in Skövde.

Description

In the role of Operations Manager, you will closely collaborate with the association manager to lead and organize the association's work with 17 members. You will specifically be responsible for support, follow-up, and internal quality processes, thus being the person at the association who provides the closest operational support to the members in order to develop and ensure quality.

Furthermore, you will work strategically with development and environmental monitoring together with the association manager, as well as more operationally with conducting needs analyses, method support, training, and conference days. You will also be the person at the association who participates in the steering group meetings of the initiatives, supports all members with application processes, and participates in the start and completion of initiatives. Part of the position will specifically be to provide method support for the members' continued implementation of the so-called BIP method.

Qualifications

You have a university or college degree or other education deemed suitable for the position, and you have previous experience in a managerial or leadership role. You are accustomed to leading strategic development work where you pedagogically highlight and drive processes with a clear results focus. You have good collaboration skills, can work independently and be your own driving force, and are comfortable presenting results both in writing and verbally.

Good knowledge of the Office suite and a B driver's license are required.

The Coordination Association Skaraborg is a collaboration form for the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Västra Götaland Region, and 14 municipalities in Skaraborg; Essunga, Falköping, Gullspång, Götene, Hjo, Karlsborg, Lidköping, Mariestad, Skara, Skövde, Tibro, Tidaholm, Töreboda, and Vara.

Through the association, a common budget is managed. The goal is effective use of society's resources, and local needs determine what is needed for more people to obtain, retain, or improve their ability to work.

Most of the funding goes to direct interventions for people who are not in work, and in addition, some interventions indirectly facilitate people's path to work. Examples may include funding training, developing effective methods, or working preventively so that fewer need to be on sick leave.

The Coordination Association Skaraborg has premises in Skövde, but the association's initiatives and projects are located throughout Skaraborg!
