About the organization
Mellerud and Bengtsfors municipalities dare to think outside the box and are embarking on new paths to solve future competence supply and secure the development work of social services! Since autumn 2021, the municipalities have a joint management and leadership of the social area. The social area for Mellerud and Bengtsfors is led by a social manager and is divided into five operational areas: individual and family care, residential care, health and social care, support and service, and staff and administration.
Through collaboration, opportunities are created to share both managerial positions and specialist competencies in a way that benefits both municipalities. There is significant value in the collaboration as many issues related to quality development and quality management systems are similar in the municipalities, particularly at an overarching level. We work according to the motto "We are at the forefront and have a unique collaboration where the individual is always at the center".

Job Responsibilities
In close collaboration with management, leaders, and employees, you will support the administration in various operational, development, and quality issues with a focus on digitalization where you will play a key role. You will work closely with our operations to identify and implement digital solutions. In the role of business developer, you are an important part of the administration's organization and are given great opportunity to influence our important work going forward to meet future challenges. You are expected to independently drive development work and assist management and politics with qualitative data and recommendations for decisions. You are also expected to ensure that digital solutions are implemented effectively, following up on ongoing work driven by the operations themselves or alternatively leading projects yourself.
Areas of Responsibility:
Analyze and map current processes and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement digital strategies and solutions.
Monitor and stay updated on new digital trends and technologies.
Drive and coordinate digitalization projects and support the operations in implementing digital solutions.
Train and support employees in the use of new digital tools and systems.
Follow up and evaluate the effects of implemented solutions.
Your position also includes contact with internal and external networks and partners.
Excellent commuting opportunities with public transport on the Gothenburg-Karlstad route, as well as flexible working hours with the possibility of remote work part of the time.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
A university degree in IT, business development, digitalization, or another relevant field.
Experience leading or participating in digitalization projects and change work.
The ability to analyze and understand the needs of operations and translate them into digital solutions.
Good communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders.
Knowledge of process development, automation, and digital transformation.
It is an advantage if you have experience working in the public sector and knowledge of legislation related to digitalization and information management.
Personal Qualities
To succeed in this role, you are driven, analytical, and structured. You have good pedagogical skills and can inspire others to adopt digital working methods. You enjoy working both independently and in teams, and you have an innovative approach to development and improvement.
