Are you a flexible and development-oriented nurse looking for new challenges? Are you interested in working in general psychiatry this summer? During the summer, we are looking for nurses for round-the-clock care:

• Psychiatric emergency department - Here you will be involved in receiving patients, making assessments, and triaging in the acute psychiatric phase
• Ward 2 - Has 18 general psychiatric beds and 2 user-controlled admission beds, here you will work in a team around the patient's psychiatric care
• Ward 3 - 4 acute and 6 general psychiatric beds. Here you will work in a team around the patient's psychiatric care
• The Brain Stimulation Unit - Is an outpatient clinic that receives patients from round-the-clock care and outpatient care, here you will help prepare patients before ECT treatment, administer rTMS treatment, and Ketamine treatment.

The round-the-clock care in general psychiatry is part of the general psychiatry operational area. Our wards are located adjacent to the university hospital in Örebro. In our wards, we have an extra focus on developing the content of care according to the Safewards method. Access to peer support and user-controlled admission beds is available in some of our wards. Collaboration with our specialist psychiatric care teams (SPOT) is an important part of our work. Together we work with common processes and goals. We work in multidisciplinary teams based on a holistic view of the individual and adapt care interventions to the patient's needs and conditions. We strive to promote the involvement of relatives in care.

As a nurse with us, your job responsibilities will include psychiatric care, leadership, documentation, patient conversations, medication management, and other usual nursing tasks. All units consist of teams with various professions, and we prefer that you have good collaboration skills. The work is varied, challenging, and fun. We want you to be able to work independently and flexibly based on the needs of the operation and the patients.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or who will graduate by summer. It is advantageous to have at least 1 year of experience as a nurse.

About the Position:

Temporary position with day/evening/weekend and night shifts, rotation is possible if desired. IF you enjoy our operation, there is an opportunity for permanent employment with full-time work within Region Örebro County in general psychiatry, and you will then have the opportunity to choose placement.
