We are looking for a dietitian for the Neuro and Rehabilitation Medicine department at Örebro University Hospital. The Neuro and Rehabilitation Medicine department has a broad operation consisting of outpatient clinics in neurology, neurosurgery, neurophysiology, and rehabilitation medicine, as well as two inpatient wards. We work on developing care chains for our patient groups in close collaboration between different professions and across specialty boundaries, both internally and externally in the region. Education and research are conducted in collaboration with Örebro University. Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the three acute hospitals in the county where we provide advanced medical care, research, and education. In both 2020 and 2019, USÖ received the prestigious award for Best University Hospital from the newspaper Dagens Medicin. USÖ won the most significant category for medical quality, had the best results in the categories of accessibility, economy, and avoiding pressure ulcers and overcrowding. USÖ also tops the results in the areas of heart, kidney failure, and vascular surgery. USÖ has about 3500 employees. Job Responsibilities

In Neuro and Rehabilitation Medicine, two experienced dietitians work. You will work according to the nutrition treatment process in both acute and rehabilitative settings. This includes nutritional assessment and treatment of inpatients and outpatient patients, including digital visits and phone consultations. The assignment is partly within the stroke unit and acute neurology, and partly with patients with chronic neurological diseases in outpatient and inpatient care. In rehabilitation medicine, you will work with individuals of working age who have acquired brain injuries, primarily stroke and traumatic brain injury. Collaboration in the team includes doctors, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, and nursing assistants.
