About our operations

At the Mölndal Psychosis Clinic, we assess, treat, and care for patients with psychotic disorders.

We are a team consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, secretaries, and caregivers. With our diverse competencies, we complement each other and can offer our patients modern individualized treatment methods. The treatment model we work from is called R-ACT. It is an evidence-based method for treating patients with psychiatric/psychotic issues that is centered around the patient and their network. We also actively work with a health perspective for our target group, through health-promoting group activities and individualized activities. As a caregiver with us, you will work in a cross-professional team with the opportunity to tailor care for the patient in dialogue with colleagues.

What does the job entail?

You will work as a case manager, which means being responsible for care and treatment interventions for a number of patients. Each patient has two case managers. Your work will include identifying needs for interventions and establishing a care plan that is continuously followed up and updated. An important part of the job is to motivate the patient towards work or studies and towards a healthier life. The job also includes examinations such as blood pressure checks, ECGs, and more.

What do we offer you?

We want you to feel secure in your work, and therefore we tailor the introduction based on your prior knowledge. You will receive a mentor and regular group supervision. We are a team of 18 people and we have an open climate where we support each other and encourage questions. With us, you have excellent opportunities for continuous development. We can offer you training in R-ACT, MI (Motivational Interviewing), addiction disorders, or other diagnoses within psychiatry.

Who are we looking for to join our team?

We are looking for someone educated in healthcare and social care. We consider it an advantage if you have work experience in psychiatry or have studied to become a specialist nurse. Since home visits are part of the job, it is desirable that you have a driver's license. An electric bicycle is also available for use in the position.

We believe that you who start with us are curious and enjoy following patients over a long period. You are engaged, meticulous, and want to work with your colleagues in the team to create the best care for our patients. You are stable and secure in yourself, which instills confidence in your relationship with the patient. You are good at collaborating, creating, and maintaining relationships with both patients, colleagues, and healthcare partners.
