Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

The client lives alone in an apartment in Rotebro. He has assistance around the clock with on-call service during the night. He is in a wheelchair and needs help from his assistant with transfers using aids and some physical assistance, among other things.

His interests include socializing with friends and participating in activities.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a man in his 30s living in Rotebro
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• can work during the summer weeks 26-34

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job and is approximately 80%. You should be able to work during weeks 26-34. The job involves working during the day, evening, and night with on-call service. The hours are 7-16 or 16-08:30 with on-call service between 00:00-06:30.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
