Enberga is beautifully located just outside Örsundsbro, between Uppsala and Enköping. Here, there is a residence with 12 apartments for individuals who have a combined problem of harmful use or dependence and mental health issues. We currently have two positions open for new employees and are looking for someone with a strong interest in working with people who have the comorbidity issues that our clients face. Our clients come to us with assistance decisions either from the Social Administration or from the Health and Care Administration.

Within the Health and Care Administration, we work according to a salutogenic approach to utilize and strengthen the resources individuals have. We are responsible for elderly care and support for people with disabilities. As an employee with us, you work closely with individuals to create a meaningful and secure everyday life.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a treatment assistant at Enberga comorbidity residence, your main tasks will be to provide support to individuals based on their conditions and needs. The support measures can be extensive and involve many everyday situations. You will work on building good treatment relationships and contribute to ensuring that our clients receive the security and safety they need to break ingrained behaviors.

Individual conversations and motivational work focusing on the client's dependency issues and/or mental well-being will occur. Some health care tasks are included based on delegation. The interventions must be documented in the LifeCare journal system.

You will work strategically and purposefully with the pedagogical work together with your colleagues and the residence's nurse. We work according to current legislation, which means we document daily according to SoL and HSL.

The work is performed in shifts with day, evening, and weekend shifts according to the schedule.

In social psychiatry, you work to provide support to individuals with mental disabilities and dependency issues based on a salutogenic approach. The salutogenic approach means that the work focuses on making everyday life meaningful, comprehensible, and manageable for the individual.

The Health and Care Administration is currently undergoing a significant transformation journey where collaboration is a substantial part. For this reason, service in other units may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational background as a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other training that the employer assesses as equivalent. Experience in addiction care and/or psychiatric care is desirable.

You need to be an empathetic person driven by a strong inner passion to create results beyond the ordinary. It is crucial that you, as an applicant, have good competence regarding the target group.

You have the ability to create security, stability, and contribute with the qualities that help residents motivate themselves towards a more independent life. The comorbidity issues present special challenges, often with fluctuations in well-being. Therefore, it is essential to handle the needs of the target group in a respectful and humble manner.

You are secure, stable, and controlled in pressured or challenging situations. You distinguish between the personal and professional and act in a way that is adapted to the situation. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your task. You structure and drive your work independently.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and qualities. We want you to speak fluent Swedish and have a driver's license for both manual and automatic vehicles.
