SiS LVM Home Östfora in Järlåsa, northwest of Uppsala, accommodates men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse, in combination with mental health issues. We have special expertise in medical care and are tasked with providing care for clients with specific care needs.

Job Description

Are you motivated by helping people in vulnerable life situations? Do you also enjoy organizing, leading, and planning? Apply for the position of team leader at SiS LVM Home Östfora. As a team leader, you contribute to a safe and secure environment for both placed clients and employees. In this role, you actively participate in the operational care and treatment work on the department. You are responsible for planning, operationally leading, and distributing the daily work. You act as a role model and promote that the work is conducted legally and in accordance with applicable governing documents, methods, and set goals. You keep the unit manager on your department updated on issues that may affect the work environment, care, and treatment environment, or other deficiencies in the operation. Introduction and guidance of new employees are also part of your work. The role requires close collaboration with the unit manager, treatment secretary, operational leader, and staffing planner. Acting as the unit manager is also part of the position, including management on-call duties.

Qualifications

• University education of at least 180 higher education credits with a focus on social, health, or behavioral sciences
• Several years of documented work experience within SiS or another organization focused on care, treatment, and security, such as social services, care and treatment, correctional services, or other relevant fields.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both in writing and verbally.

At the same time, you are attentive and affirming in your interactions with clients and colleagues and skilled at building relationships. Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday.
