Then you might be the one we are looking for at Quant Service Sweden AB in Ludvika!

At Quant in Ludvika, we have about 100 employees, of which the maintenance department consists of about 50 employees in various roles, including maintenance technicians (Electrical/Automation, Mechanical, Process, etc.), maintenance engineers, planners/coordinators, and project managers. We perform emergency and preventive maintenance for our customer Hitachi Energy and also work to help the customer maintain and optimize machine performance at their facilities.

About the position:

In the role of maintenance technician in mechanics, you will carry out ongoing work for emergency and preventive maintenance at our customer Hitachi in Ludvika. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop in your role as a technician by working in a production environment with both older and newer machine equipment. We work to help customers maintain and optimize machine performance at their facilities.

Your main tasks:

• Mechanical preventive maintenance
• Corrective maintenance
• Troubleshooting machines during breakdowns or production stops
• Machining and manufacturing of simpler mechanical constructions.
• Basic calculations on jobs that may lead to projects
• The work is mainly conducted on shifts

Qualifications:

• Technical education in workshop technology, preferably with a focus on maintenance
• You have previous experience in workshop work and mechanical troubleshooting
• You have basic computer skills as all maintenance work is reported in our maintenance system Maximo via computer and mobile
• It is advantageous if you have knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and experience in maintaining CNC-controlled machines
