WBAB is a community builder and an important local player that ensures the fundamental functions for a sustainable society – clean water from the tap, environmentally safe sewage, and efficient waste management.

During the summer, some maintenance work will take place with us. The work is carried out during the day, and below is a description of our summer jobs.

Handling of containers

For this job, we are looking for someone between 16–18 years old who has an AM license. You will be responsible for cleaning, sorting, and organizing waste containers. The work takes place at Björnhyttan's recycling center during the summer period from June 30 to July 27 (weeks 27–30). You will be provided with work clothes. A supervisor will be available throughout the period to give you instructions on how the work is done.

Clearing grass and bushes

For this job, we are looking for someone who is 18 years or older. It is an advantage if you have a driver's license. The work is outdoors where you will be responsible for clearing grass and bushes around our various facilities in the municipalities of Ludvika and Smedjebacken. You need to be able to work according to instructions both independently and with others. It is beneficial if you have previously worked with similar tasks. The work will take place during the period from June 16 to August 8 (weeks 25–32). You will start from the Bylandet treatment plant in Smedjebacken. The work clothes and tools you need will be provided by us.

Employment conditions

The positions are temporary employment. Daytime work.

Our full name is WBAB WessmanBarken Water & Recycling AB, but we call ourselves WBAB. We are owned by Ludvika Municipality and Smedjebacken Municipality.
