Job responsibilities

In the role of structural engineer/calculation engineer, you will be offered a varied job ranging from complex stability calculations for larger buildings, where you build models, apply loads, and analyze how the structure reacts, to smaller calculations for, for example, hollow floor elements. You will also support the designers in their choices and act as a sounding board when questions arise, even in projects you have not dimensioned yourself. Your contribution will be crucial for the designers to solve other parts of the project smoothly. The role involves many points of contact and varied workdays. In larger projects, you will be involved in a team where you collaborate with managers and designers, while in smaller projects you may be responsible for the entire process.

• Conduct larger calculations where you build static models, apply loads, and analyze the structure's reaction, as well as smaller calculations for example hollow floor elements
• Support designers in their choices and in various projects
• Wide contact surfaces and varied workdays
• Involved in a team with managers and designers in larger projects and responsible for the entire process in smaller projects

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Several years of experience in concrete calculations and stability calculations for larger buildings
• Knowledge of StruSoft's calculation programs, such as WIN-Statik and FEM-Design
• Experience in dimensioning concrete elements and the prefab industry is an advantage
• Driving license B
