Assistant Needed for Saturdays

Hello!

I am a 38-year-old man from Uppsala looking for an assistant for Saturdays from approximately 09:00 to 15:00.

I suffer from a muscle disease that makes me completely wheelchair-bound and therefore need help with many parts of my daily life. I am sensitive to infections, so hand hygiene and cleanliness are important. All assistants must also wear face masks during close work. I also have osteoporosis, which means that one must be careful with too hard touches as I easily get pain and bruises.

What I may need help with includes dressing, meals, showering, toilet visits, cleaning, some form of physiotherapy, shopping, dishwashing, making the bed, etc.

You who are applying should be punctual, flexible, meticulous, clean, attentive, and responsive. You should be one step ahead and able to see what needs to be done. Simply make my everyday life easier and respect that your workplace is my home.

You should have good knowledge of Swedish. A driver's license is an advantage as I have access to a car. You may need to show an extract from the criminal record within LSS.

The working hours are about 6 hours, with minor variations. There will also be opportunities for substitute shifts if other assistants are unable to work, as well as possibly more during the summer.

The assistance provider/employer is God Assistans i MITT AB, which of course has a collective agreement, wellness benefits, insurances, etc. Interviews are conducted continuously, and it is usually I who make direct contact and schedule a meeting with potential candidates for the position, although salary agreements and contracts are signed with God Assistans.
