We are looking for someone who

is a trained nursing assistant and is interested in working in a department focused on dementia/cognitive impairment. We offer a permanent position at 100%. The schedule includes day/evening shifts with work every other weekend.

We want you to feel secure in your role as a nursing assistant and have a positive attitude towards development and change. We prefer that you have experience working with individuals with dementia diagnoses.

You should be able to work with everyone and accept our differences, treating everyone with respect. We also want you to be flexible and attentive, both with residents and their relatives, as well as with us, your new colleagues.

About the role and your tasks

As a nursing assistant, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team. You contribute your specialist knowledge within your professional competence. Through close collaboration with the manager, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and others in the team, you help provide users with meaningful lives where individual needs are at the center.

The work involves care work based on the user's wishes and needs, as well as delegated tasks according to HSL. As a nursing assistant, you will work with the digital system Epsilon, document in Lifecare, evaluate, and contribute to ensuring that the operations maintain good quality. We monitor quality in national registers such as the BPSD registry and Senior Alert.

An important part of the work is to collaborate in a team around the user to achieve a good overall perspective. We work based on the national value base in elderly care, where the key words are self-determination, participation, and individual adaptation.

Your goal is always to make everyday life meaningful for the users.

About the workplace

Brunnslyckan's special housing for the elderly is located in Mårtenslundsparken in central Lund. Brunnslyckan was built in 2005 and consists of six units, each with eight apartments. Four of the units are for individuals with cognitive impairment. The residence has a beautiful enclosed garden facing west.
