Hagmo group home, part of Täby municipality, is currently seeking a dedicated support worker with both brain and heart for care and support.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of support worker with us, you will:

• Provide support and care to residents with psychiatric, neuropsychiatric, and intellectual disabilities.
• Work with clear pedagogy and a low-arousal approach.
• Prevent and manage self-harm behavior.
• Document according to IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus).
• Collaborate with a fantastic team to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for our residents.
• Actively participate in professional development and continuous learning opportunities.

Qualifications

To fit into the role, we prefer that you:

• Have education in care and support with a focus on psychiatry or other relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Have experience working in psychiatry, neuropsychiatric disabilities, and LSS.
• Have experience with clear pedagogy and a low-arousal approach.
• Have knowledge of self-harm behavior and are accustomed to documenting according to IBIC.
• Have personal maturity and are prepared for a challenging job.
• Are a team player with a positive attitude and good collaboration skills.
• Want to contribute to a health-promoting and welcoming atmosphere in the workplace.

About the Residence

The group home consists of six one-room apartments. Some have completely open floor plans with kitchen/living room/bedroom integrated, while one has a separate bedroom.

In the center of the residence, you will find the common room, and adjacent to it are the staff's office and other facilities.

Outside the group home, there is a shared outdoor area where one can grill or perhaps hold a boules tournament. Joint activities are also organized from the department's leisure activities at Gribbylunds Gård.

The position requires that you have a very good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You need to be able to speak, read, document, and understand instructions in Swedish.

A probationary period of up to 6 months may apply.

To be considered for employment, a criminal record extract from the police is required; choose "check your own information".

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is approximately 80 - 90 %.

The position involves work during the day, evening, on-call overnight, and every other weekend.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled during the application period.
