Approximately 200 valuable employees work to provide social services to the municipality's residents, most of whom work in elderly care.

In Essunga municipality, there are two nursing homes, Kerstinsås and Lindbacken. Kerstinsås is the largest facility with a total of three departments.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of the municipality's HSL team, which consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and HSL assistants who work together in special housing and regular housing. As an occupational therapist, your tasks will include assessing, planning, prescribing, and following up on HSL interventions. Health and medical care work in the municipality is always conducted in collaboration with the individual, relatives, nurses, rehabilitation staff, case managers, unit managers, and care staff.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. You are self-sufficient and can take responsibility for your tasks effectively, and you find it easy to collaborate and communicate both in groups and with individuals.

Every day, you will need to solve both small and large tasks at work, so we believe you are accustomed to working independently and with a solution-focused approach. You should be structured and have a systematic working method that enables high quality in your work and security for those you work with.

If you have experience in the profession in the municipal sector, it is an advantage. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
