The welfare sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and home healthcare, individual and family care, and care and nursing homes.

Home care and home healthcare are responsible for services according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. We operate throughout the municipality and are responsible for authority exercise, home healthcare, home care, and short-term operations. Our mission is to provide support and assistance to those who have difficulty managing daily life and to provide good and quality-assured home healthcare.

As one of our employees is retiring, we are now seeking a nurse for a permanent position for evening and night shifts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The municipality's health and medical care has developed in recent years to provide more advanced care in the patient's home, with both planned and acute health and medical interventions. The home healthcare organization is responsible for patients of all ages with various diagnoses and varying needs.

Your responsibilities will include standard health and medical interventions such as medical assessments, end-of-life care, and contact with relatives for our patients in the municipality.

Your role includes training and supervision of nursing staff, and you will also be a team leader during on-call hours. The working hours for this position are scheduled for evening/night.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who enjoys challenges and sees opportunities to contribute to good patient safety. We are looking for a licensed nurse.

To thrive in your role, you are a secure and stable person. You are responsible, have a flexible approach, and the ability to adapt to different situations. You are structured, can plan and organize your work effectively.

As a person, you value good collaboration with others and can see the benefits of teamwork. We would prefer that you have work experience from municipal home healthcare. A driver's license (B) is required as a car is used as a means of transport in the job.
