Do you want to contribute to the occupational health and safety efforts in a business that plays a vital role for Saab? At Saab Muskö, you will become a key player in developing and driving the occupational health and safety work to protect both people and operations.

Your Role

We are looking for an engaged and experienced Occupational Health and Safety Engineer to join our Occupational Health and Safety team. You will work both strategically and operationally to ensure and further develop occupational health and safety processes.

Examples of Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the corporate occupational health and safety management process
• Provide advice to the business on occupational health and safety and occupational hygiene
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Conduct occupational health and safety measurements and audits according to ISO 45001
• Coordinate and conduct training to raise awareness of occupational health and safety
• Manage contact with authorities and other stakeholders

You will be part of an effective OHS team and collaborate closely with HR, managers, safety representatives, and employees to create a safe and healthy work environment.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Education in occupational health and safety or equivalent experience
• Good understanding of Swedish occupational health and safety legislation
• Experience in a similar role, preferably within marine operations
• Independent and proactive working style with good initiative
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English

The position is based in Muskö, but work may also occur at Saab Kockums' other locations in Sweden, and travel within the country is included in the role.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. Positions where Saab has security classification requirements may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
