The Social Services Administration works under the principle that all people we meet have the same value and are unique. Within the administration, there are IFO, LSS operations, social psychiatry, health care, home care, and special accommodations. About 800 employees work here, available around the clock for our target groups.

We work in teams and are currently moving towards having you as a social worker work in pairs on cases when possible, for a more legally sound handling but also to create extra security and knowledge.

We are now looking for two social workers who want to join us and work with authority and investigate/design support for children and young people.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in social work and the needs of children and young people. You should have a degree in social work or hold a degree within a timeframe that the employer deems reasonable. If you meet the eligibility requirement with another relevant education of at least 180 higher education credits, you should also have studied social law, administrative law, psychology, and social work. For studies in social work, the level of difficulty should also have been gradually increased.

We seek someone who has the ability to see opportunities in changing circumstances. You have excellent collaboration skills and can listen and communicate with others in an adequate manner. You instill great trust in others, are calm, stable, and in stressful situations, you have the ability to keep focus on the right things and drive the work process forward. Since the position may involve adjustments in your day based on incoming reports and safety assessments, it is especially important that you are flexible and have the ability to adapt to new assignments.

You have the ability to be clear and adapt your communication. Documentation and communication are a large part of our work, and therefore you need to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. Training in BBIC and Signs of Safety is meritorious. For us, it is important that you are interested in social work and go to work because you want and dare to make a difference for vulnerable people in society.

A driving license (B) is a requirement.

Since you will be working with children and young people, you must be able to provide an extract from the police criminal record for the position.
