Family Therapist Wanted for Dialog's Support and Service-Oriented Operations

One of our colleagues is retiring, and as a result, we are looking for a new employee for Dialog's support and service-oriented operations aimed at families with children up to 18 years old.

Dialog is one of 5 units within the social services' operations for Children and Family and is organized under the Department of Children and Education. At Dialog, there are 16 family therapists, one method supervisor, and one unit manager. The work at Dialog is divided into 2 teams, where one team works with assessed assistance measures and the other team works with support and service measures.

Working as a family therapist in our operations means focusing on the child. For us, this means that the important adults in the child's life need to work together, develop, and have the opportunity to be the support, security, and role model that the child needs.

Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities include providing support and service conversations up to 5 conversations focusing on strengthening parenting and improving communication between family members. The responsibilities also include leading group activities for children and parents. You will work in collaboration within the framework of Together for Every Child and with outward-facing informative work. You will work both independently and in collaboration with others.

Qualifications

The role requires:

• Social worker, behavioral science education, or other higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Relevant professional experience in the field of children and youth to an extent that the employer considers sufficient.
• Good proficiency in the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
• Driver's license B

You have personal maturity, which means you are emotionally stable, have self-awareness, and are secure in yourself. Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working as a family therapist.
• Experience working within the social services' children and youth area.

Employment Conditions

The recruitment concerns 2 permanent full-time positions, with start date by agreement. The work is mainly during office hours, with some evening work occurring.
