The Service Center receives fault reports, orders, and provides support and mediates cases within IT, healthcare and administrative systems, property issues, telephony, cleaning, and transport. All employees and municipal staff also come to us to get their e-service card issued. We are about 40 colleagues geographically located at Örebro University Hospital.

The Service Center consists of the units First Line and e-Service Card, IT and telephony support, and System Support. As an employee within IT and telephony support, you will primarily work with a focus on telephony and play an important role in meeting our customers both via phone and when customers visit the Service Center. Within the Shared Service Center, there are the departments Service Center, Telephone Exchange, HR Administration, Finance Department, and Payroll and Pension Administration.

Support Technician in Telephony and IT Systems for the Service Center, temporary position

Job Responsibilities

As part of our telephony support, you will handle fault reports, orders, and support cases within telephony for all operations in Region Örebro County. The tasks include troubleshooting and configuring various telephony solutions, such as IP phones, DECT phones, and mobile phones. You will provide support both via phone and during visits to our reception where you assist users with their questions and problems. Additionally, you will work on cases that require further troubleshooting and are handled through our case management system.

Qualifications

• You have at least a high school education with a focus on IT or equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• You have a strong interest in service, IT, and technology.
• Experience working with telephony or IT in a support function.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• We would like you to have good knowledge of mobile devices, peripherals, and operating systems such as iOS, Android, and Windows 10/11.

• You are social and have an easy time communicating and collaborating with others.
