We are now looking for Cyber Security Engineers who want to be part of our cybersecurity team within Kockums, located in Karlskoga or Linköping.

Your role includes system hardening in both Windows, development of security functionality for operating systems, and operational support regarding the technical aspects of IT security work.

You will be involved in the development of products within our business area Underwater Systems. You will play an important role in the development of our future products as well as in the maintenance of the existing product portfolio.

Within the products we support, we have a wide variety from embedded systems where we develop large parts of our electronics ourselves, to large graphical planning systems. We have many new projects underway, which brings significant challenges with exciting and varied tasks.

We support a large part of the organization and we are in an expansive phase where we need to strengthen with more colleagues at both locations.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in application-level cybersecurity work and a solid practical background. Perhaps you have previously worked with IT operations, system administration, or operating system configuration. It is an advantage if you also have good knowledge of software and programming.

To thrive in the role, you should have experience or knowledge of administration of Windows environments, including Windows Server and services like Active Directory. You are familiar with security controls like AppGuard and preferably have experience with scripting in Powershell and log management in Windows environments.

It is meritorious if you have knowledge in areas such as system hardening and frameworks like CIS Controls or DOD STIG, or experience with requirements work and frameworks like KSF and NIST. Knowledge of security controls such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, logging tools, and Access Control is valuable, as well as experience in network configuration, for example with Cisco.

If you can program in Python for automation, or have experience with container technologies like Podman or Docker, that further strengthens your profile. Additionally, experience in a similar role for Linux is a big plus.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations.
