Onsite Technician for SAAB in Karlskoga

Responsibilities

The onsite support team is responsible for providing service and information as well as handling inquiries and resolving incidents and service requests from the business. You will prepare computers and install software and accessories for the end user. You are responsible for keeping the existing knowledge database updated and providing users with new instructions and guides for both the business and IT. As an onsite technician, you assist your colleagues who are not physically present, for example during major disruptions or security-related incidents, and you work daily with systematic troubleshooting.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Support for printers and conference rooms
• Resolving issues and supporting users where remote control is not functioning or sufficient
• Installing and delivering computers, phones, and other client-side IT hardware and ensuring that the hardware register is updated
• Documenting cases in the knowledge database and case management system for both end users and IT resources
• Handling VIP cases

Your Profile and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, it is important that you can empathize with the user's situation to help professionally and pedagogically where needed. We prefer that you have a strong interest in technology and enjoy supporting your colleagues in the business. As a person, you are service-oriented, business-minded, and proactive in identifying potential challenges before they arise. You are self-driven and have a good ability to collaborate with others and share your knowledge. Furthermore, you have the ability to drive your processes forward and are willing to suggest improvements. Good communication skills and attentiveness are advantageous in this role.

We are looking for someone with either at least 4-8 years of experience in similar tasks or someone who has worked in the relevant field for 9-12 years.

Requirements

• Experience in similar tasks
• B driver's license
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Familiar with documentation and administrative handling of cases within IT

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in a large corporation with complex IT environments.
