My name is Arvid Sundqvist, I work as a section manager and lead the section for Revenue Collection and Ancillary Accounting 1, which is part of the IT department at the Swedish Transport Agency within the Development and Management unit 1. We are a really great team with a high ceiling and high engagement where teamwork is central. Together, we are responsible for the management of the Swedish Transport Agency's financial IT systems, and we are currently on a challenging but also very exciting journey. Our colleagues in the neighboring section are fully engaged in building our new IT solutions that will replace our existing ones, and this is perhaps where you come into the picture, as reinforcement to our IT management?

Therefore, I am looking for you who are a software developer and primarily thrive in the management area, where part of the assignment involves getting to “dig deep” into older IT environments. At the same time, I expect you to have a curiosity about how we together move towards the new IT solutions – you together with your team colleagues will be an important link in the interface between the old and new IT solutions. Of course, you are driven by working with problem-solving and development, and since we work quite a bit with SQL, both experience and interest in it are necessary.

You will

• work with software development primarily related to existing management
• be part of an agile delivery team
• work daily with Azure DevOps Services
• use the following languages and frameworks;
• C#
• .NET
• Transact-SQL.

You must have

• a university degree in IT or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way
• several years of work experience in software development within the .NET platform
• several years of work experience with MS SQL
• several years of work experience with agile working methods
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you also have

• worked within public administration
• experience with Azure DevOps Services
• experience in financial reporting within public administration
• experience in software development in a migrated mainframe environment.

The employment is permanent with placement in Örebro. Appointment according to agreement. We normally apply a probationary period. As an employee with us, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. It is the needs of the business and the nature of the tasks that determine whether and to what extent it is possible. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
