The elderly care in Vingåker is a consolidated unit located in the southern parts of Vingåker's central area. Here, all expertise is gathered under one roof! Our combined expertise contributes to high service, quality care, and proximity to both colleagues and management. With us, it is efficient to reach the right person for the right matter! The elderly care consists of somatic departments, dementia departments, short-term accommodation, and 4 home care groups.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

One of our employees is retiring, and we are now looking for someone who wants to take on the role of nurse for special housing in Vingåker municipality. You will be the main responsible for health and medical care interventions up to the level of a nurse. As a nurse with us, you will work in a team with nursing assistants, care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and the responsible unit manager. You will have the opportunity to meet with a doctor twice a week, and at other times, doctors can be reached by phone.

Your main tasks will be to lead and plan the daily care work at the residence. You will also be responsible for care documentation according to current legislation/routines to ensure that the care work develops and is quality assured according to the organization’s quality and patient safety management system. Your role includes mentoring and training staff in care work and ensuring that care is designed and implemented in consultation with the residents. In the evenings and weekends, you will be on call for special housing and home healthcare in Vingåker municipality. Documentation is done in the database-based journal system Treserva.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. If you have training in geriatrics/elderly care, it is an advantage. We prefer that you have previous experience working with similar tasks.

As a person, you need to be meticulous, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You contribute to a good working environment through a positive attitude towards both users, relatives, and colleagues. You are driven and accustomed to prioritizing your tasks.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
